Purpose of job:

  • To lead on human resource (HR) management and industrial relations for British Council in the assigned countries (Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary).
  • To ensure proactive management and mitigation of legal and operational risk relating to human resource management.
  • To advise and support activity leads in key HR functions and decision making, including recruitment, role profiles, staffing modelling, legal consultancy, talent management, performance management and rewards
