british-documentary-arts

British Documentary is one of our most long-lasting and popular projects. Started in 2010 by the British Council Romania, the project brings you awarded British documentaries in over 15 cities across Romania.

For each edition we select the best of British documentaries which have been either nominated or awarded by the Grierson Trust at The British Documentary Awards, one of the most prominent events of its kind. The films shed light on some of nowadays most fervent issues: from environmental activism, politics and arts to society, the media and many more.

All documentaries are subtitled in Romanian and entry is free of charge.
