Role overview
We're looking for a dynamic and analytic colleague keen on working with numbers and people to support the Country Exams teams with the efficient delivery of exams finance services. The role will focus on the Romania operation for the immediate future, but once the new Exams structure is fully in place, the role will work across a sub-cluster comprised of Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia.
Main tasks
- monitor bank account transactions and deliver off-system income recognition,
- monitor WBS allocation accuracy,
- investigate inaccuracies and process correction journal information and income reconciliations according to standards and deadlines
- process and monitor refund of payments to individual candidates and supplier institutions
- collect approved Test Day staff payment information from the Pool Management function and process them for payment
- ensure the SAP procurement and invoicing process are delivered according to standards and policies, including Vendor and Business partner creation, PO and Sales order creation and GR
- provide efficient off-system invoicing services according to local laws
- ensure fluent communication with country, Cluster, Region and Global Operations and Finance functions
Essential skills and competencies
- Analytical skills and basic knowledge of statutory accounting principles and practices, including accruals and the impact of financial transactions;
- Very good command of the Microsoft Office package, in particular Microsoft Excel;
- Relevant experience in Finance or Finance-related roles is a must;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- English language skills at B2/C1 level;
- Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting/ Economics or equivalent by experience.
