Admission Tests

*Access Arrangements: To ensure that your requests for modified papers is processed by the deadline of 28 April 2025, the British Council Bucharest requires you to have submitted all requests together with the required supporting documentation/evidence, no later than 17 April 2025. Requests with incomplete evidence/documentation risk not being processed in time. Please also note that the required payment must have also cleared by this date.

You can sit the STEP (Sixth Term Examination Paper) at British Council.

Access the online registration form and fill it in with your details.

Information about the venue and time of the exam will be sent to candidates by e-mail approximately 7 days before the test date.

Fees can be paid only by bank transfer from a bank where you have an account into our account at Citibank Europe plc, Dublin – Bucharest, beneficiary British Council - Exams, fiscal registration code C.U.I. no. 9000 0000 26598, account number IBAN RO88 CITI 0000 0008 2601 2196. Please write your name and the name of the examination on the ordin de plată in the reprezentând section. (e.g. NameSurname_STEP Exams 16 June 25)

To confirm that you have made the payment, please send us a copy of the deposit slip via email at contact@britishcouncil.ro no later than 28 April 2025.
