  • Times: from 17:00 to 18:00 for primary level (teachig children aged 6 - 10) and from 18:15 to 19:15 for secondary level (teaching children aged 11 - 17). You can choose both sessions.

Andreea Iorga

With over 20 years of experience in ELT, Andreea Iorga is a passionate teacher trainer, academic leader, and young learner specialist. Although she has taught learners of all ages, her heart is firmly in pre-school and primary classrooms. 

She holds an MSc in TESOL from Aston University, Cambridge DELTA and CELTA, alongside specialist certifications in teaching young and very young learners. A member of the British Council Bucharest since 2010, she was a teacher, Coordinator, materials writer before becoming a Young Learner Senior Teacher in 2016. Andreea is a Trinity TYLEC tutor and leads the British Council Bucharest mentoring programme.

Irina Neicu

Irina Neicu started teaching in 2008, and holds a Cambridge CELTA and DELTA, as well as other specialist certifications in teaching young and very young learners. She is an experienced teacher trainer and a certified Trinity TYLEC and Cambridge CELTA tutor. She has worked with the British Council since 2013, in Romania, Georgia, and Hong Kong, and currently is a Young Learner Coordinator and safeguarding specialist.

Having taught learners of all ages and levels, Irina brings a broad international perspective to her work. An active member of the ELT community, she regularly presents at conferences and workshops, where she shares practical insights and a strong commitment to teacher development.

Jack Parker

Jack Parker has been teaching English to learners of all ages and levels since 2013. He joined the British Council in 2016 as a teacher, before becoming Secondary Coordinator in 2019 and moving into his current role of Senior Teacher Yong Learners in 2024. He holds a Cambridge CELTA and DELTA certification, as well as Trinity TYLEC.

Jack has seven years of experience in teacher training, and, for the past two years, he has also worked as a Trinity TYLEC tutor. He is particularly interested in creating engaging, interactive lessons and using gamification to promote meaningful and collaborative learning.
