Access to the premises Please be punctual, but do not arrive too early before the course, as children may get bored waiting for the lesson to start, thus losing their interest. We also inform you that the waiting areas are not permanently supervised, and children must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian. We do not offer parking at the City Gate premises. Access with skateboards, roller skates, and kendamas is not permitted on our premises.
Waiting areas During the lessons, parents or companions can wait in the waiting area at the entrance, or in the building's waiting area. For safety reasons, please do not linger in the entrance hall. Also, please do not block the hallway with toy cars/toys or strollers, to allow access in case of evacuation.
Pick-up policy for children aged between 3 – 10 years At the end of the lessons, if parents/companions are late, the children will be escorted by the teacher or assistant to the reception, where they will be supervised until the arrival of the parents/companions. To pick up the child, please show the supervisor the green pick-up card.
Additional mentions Smoking is prohibited on our premises. We recommend that during the courses mobile phones be turned off or on silent mode. Please do not photograph or film the children on our premises. We want the experiences had at the British Council to be positive and constructive, and interactions with British Council members to reflect a decent and civilized character. Violent behaviors of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in the cancellation of the respective child's enrollment in the course.
