Workshops

Each event in this tour features four engaging workshops delivered by experienced trainers:

Jollification! Time to Have Fun with Games and Activities in Your Classroom – Gregg Sotiropoulos, on behalf of Fischer International
Jollification! Time to have fun with games and activities in your classroom. Truth be told, teaching can sometimes be a tedious task, especially when students are disengaged, and the flow of the lesson is broken. What can we do at that moment to re-engage our students? Let’s take a look at some ideas that will surely spark your students’ interest and increase participation making your lesson memorable!

Teachers, Are We Exhausted Superheroes? It Is Time to Work on “Us”! – Gregg Sotiropoulos, on behalf of Fischer International
Our role as a teacher is multifaceted; seen as a counselor, a confidant, a facilitator, a motivator, a coach and even as a superhero in the eyes of our students! We may find ourselves with our batteries empty. So, my fellow superheroes, join me in this reflective talk as there is no better time than NOW to work on “US”!

Creative Teachers, Creative Learners: Because Inspiration Is Contagious – Teodora Naiba, on behalf of British Council

As teachers of English, we already juggle grammar, reading, critical thinking… and now creativity too? But creativity isn’t just another box to tick. It’s a way of thinking, a habit of mind, a little bit of controlled chaos. This workshop explores what creativity actually means and why the best thing you can do is catch the bug yourself. Creativity is contagious and it starts with you.

Human Connection in Practice – Teaching English in the Age of A.I. – Cristiana Osan, on behalf of British Council

In a world where A.I. is reshaping education, what remains uniquely human in the English classroom? This interactive workshop invites teachers to explore how meaningful connection, empathy and authentic communication can thrive alongside emerging technologies. Discover practical ideas for blending A.I. tools with engaging, learner-centred activities—ensuring that while technology supports learning, human connection remains at its heart.

Attending in person allows participants to browse teaching materials, purchase books at special prices, and receive a conference kit with valuable resources.

The event is free of charge, and all participants attending the full session will receive a certificate of attendance.

We warmly invite you to join us, connect with fellow educators, and bring fresh inspiration back to your classroom.

We look forward to seeing you on tour!
