Are you prepared to work in a dynamic and diverse team? The British Council is recruiting a Customer Services Assistant to deliver high quality services to internal and external customers and clients, as well as administrative support. This could be either a full-time or part-time position.

Role overview

Key tasks include: 

  • act as the first point of contact to both internal and external customers;
  • respond to customers’ enquiries face-to-face, phone, e-mail;
  • register customers for English courses, exams, library and other British council services;
  • assist with organising and administering office events.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent customer service skills (mandatory);
  • A high level of proficiency in English and Romanian (Level C1 according to CEF);
  • Basic finance knowledge and skills;
  • Previous experience in a customer services environment is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of Office (Word, PPoint, Excel).

The post is available immediately, either full-time or part-time. The probation period is of 30 days. The initial duration of the contract is of 1 year, with the possibility of extension.
