Books are one of the best ways to travel through space and time. This is why it gives us great pleasure to host the first edition of Pop Up Book Club, a book club for teenagers, organized by Storia Publishing House, whose aim is to take its reader around the world!
On 7 May, from 15:00, the @British library becomes the gateway to the sunny beaches of Australia! Come to our library and let's talk about Cath Crowley's Words in Deep Blue, a book about books, readers and the power of words.
The book club is moderated by the translator of the novel, Irina Stoica, and the first guest is book vlogger Daniel Afloarei.
Access to the book club, which will be held in Romanian, is free of charge.

Second-hand bookshops are full of mysteries. This is a love story. It's the story of Howling Books, where readers write letters to strangers, to lovers, to poets, to words. It's the story of Henry Jones and Rachel Sweetie. They were best friends once, before Rachel moved to the sea. Now, she's back, working at the bookstore, grieving for her brother Cal. She's looking for the future in the books people love, and the words that they leave behind. Sometimes you need the poets.
