If you have passed your exam, your certificate will be sent by Cambridge English to the British Council approximately seven to nine weeks (for paper based exams) and five to six weeks respectively (for digital exams) after the exam date.
Please be aware that the issue of your certificate may be delayed by Cambridge English, for reasons beyond British Council's control.
The British Council is not responsible for any loss or damages caused during despatch.
Please note that you will not be able to request a despatch of your certificate after two years of its issue date. This follows the UK's data protection law. If you registered through a preparation centre, your certificate will be sent to your school.
Name amendments and replacement certificates
Name amendments on your certificate and certificate replacements are free of charge, if requested less than six months after the exam date. If you request these services after six months, they cost 360 RON. You also need to send the original certificate and a copy of your ID to British Council. Please note that no name amendments on certificates can be provided if requested more than two years after the exam date.
Also please note that your certificate cannot be replaced if lost or damaged, irrespective of your exam date. After this time, you can only apply for a Certifying Statement of Results by filling in this form:https://britishcouncil.jotform.com/252031629437051.
The certifying statement of results costs 650 RON.
