Registration process for exams taking place in schools/partner centre

If your school or institution is interested in organising Cambridge English exams on its premises and can register at least 20 candidates, please contact us.

The Instructions for schools registering candidates can be found in the downloads section below, outlining the registration procedure and the requirements for organising exams on your premises.

British Council will use the EventsForce platform for Cambridge English exams registration and will send a customised link for your centre (for each date and type of exam that we have agreed with you in advance),then candidates will register and pay online.

The centre/school will send the customised links to candidates who wish to register for the relevant Cambridge English exam. Candidates register individually and pay online using the link.

Registrations are completed only when candidates receive the registration confirmation email. If the payment could not be completed, the candidates will be informed by email and they will have a new payment link and all the necessary information.

Candidates have the option to review/change their details on the Registration Details page in EventsForce. Once the registration is submitted changes can be made via an email to the British Council.

The customised link will be active until the end of the registration period. After the end of the registration period, we will send you the list of registered candidates and will start organizing the exam day.

Exam fee discounts for CAE candidates

A 10% exam fee discount is available for state school candidates taking CAE, who are in classes with bilingual or intensive English curriculum. It is offered exclusively to schools and only applies to block entry registrations.

This discount has been agreed by the British Council, the Romanian Ministry of Education and Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2012.

If applying for the discount, you must include proof that the candidates are enrolled in a bilingual or intensive programme along with the other registration documents. The proof could be a list of candidates in the relevant class, which has been stamped and signed by the school.
